Major Players

Me:I'm 21 and I'm Korean. I'm in 2nd year at UWO and I'm taking Media Information Technoculture (MIT). I don't have a job and I don't have a car though i do usually have free reign of my parents' cars.I intend to be a librarian or a professor after finishing my doctorate in library and information sciences.

Mom: My mom is 47, I think, and she is very religious (protestant).She has her university degree in music. I love my mom but she is sometimes too controlling. When I was little she made me practise piano four hours a day and she used to hit my sister and I.

She would make us record our practising when she was not home to ensure that we were in fact practising.

She would never let us sleep over a friends' houses and we were often not allowed to go to friends' houses to play.

My sister and I would take refuge in our books, mostly romance books. She still reads them but I don't have the time anymore, and they are sooo badly written I can barely stand them.

I quit playing the piano as soon as I got my associate. I never did finish all the theory stuff though; it remains in limbo. My sister doesn't play the violin anymore either. We grew to resent our instruments with a passion.

Dad: My dad is 53 I think. I love my dad, he is alright. i don't see him much because he works a lot. Well so does my mom actually but I see her more. He has his university degree in electrical enginneering but he works at the lottery booth with my mom.

My sister: I like Yoona just fine. She's 19 and she works at Starbucks. She always gives me free drinks and is a-ok in my book. Sometimes she's a pain in the ass though but she is my eating buddy. I throw up but she just eats a lot, that's why she's so big. I feel bad for her because she would be soo beautiful if it weren't for her weight.

Craig: He is my boyfriend and he is 29 and white (well, irish). We've been an item since August 6, 2001. He's a P.Eng process engineer (whatever that is), and he works at F.A.G (hehe) auto. He is sooo great to me and I am soooo thankful that he is in my life. He is also very hot which is an added bonus (even more hot since we've been dating because I made him grow his hair and his goatee and I made him buy new clothes, and I bought him new clothes as well).He's thinking of going to Germany to work for at least a year or maybe take a year off to travel and if he does I'm going to break up with him.

minor players

Vic:Vic is Chinese and he's 23. He's a good friend of mine. We used to hang out a lot but since I've been dating Criag I don't see Vic as much. He is a computer programmer at Kellogs (the cereal company). I don't think he's ever had a girlfriend but I do think he would treat his girl well if he were to have a gf.

Sean: Sean is my rich white friend. He is 25 and he works at TD/Canada Trust activating Visa's and selling card insurance. He's really good at what he does and he is consistantly a top performer. He went to university for Urban planning I think but he's not using that much.

He has an Acura RSX that he bought recently, with cash. His house is the party house because they have alot of Stuff in it (he lives with his parents). He's a really great guy and people wonder why he's still with Michelle.

Michelle:Michelle is 23 and chinese. She has been with Sean for about five years I think. She has tons of debt and just let's the interest accumulate. She has two jobs; waitressing and td/canada trust telephone thingy. She works like crazy.

Alan: He is Craig's 20-year-old cousin. He's a nice guy but he has a tendancy to stretch the truth. I'm never quite sure of the validity of his statements. He doesn't fib maliciously though, he just doesn't always know what he's talking about, but seems like he does. He works at food basics and goes to UWO. Craig and I hang out with him a lot.He's dating this korean exchange student right now but she's leaving at the end of the school year to go back to Korea.

Anna:She's my best friend. She's 20 and Korean. She goes to U of T so I don't see her that often. She recently got dumped by her boyfriend who moved to Chicago for school and found a new gf. He's a prick, but I've never met him. She's a great girl but I hardly ever see or talk to her any more.

Mona:Mona is 21 and Chinese. She's in 3rd year at uwo and she wants to go to med school (which is causing her a LOT of stress). She's a good friend of mine and really very nice but she can be very moody. She's dating Jongkind who is often travelling someplace so this causes trouble between them because she's sick of him leaving all the time.

Personally, I think I would have dumped him a while ago.

Jongkind:Jongkind is 23 and white. He's a great guy but a strange guy. He has his bacholors in some geography thing but he's going to fanshawe for some computer thing. He's been travelling like crazy recently. He's gone to japan, new zealand and the U.K. this past year and it's driving Mona batty. He was also crazy in love with his last gf which also causes mona some concern. The ex cheated on him and he still wanted her back.

Chris:Chris is 22 and white. He is Sean's brother and lives in the party house as well. His goal in life is to go to University so that he can pick up girls. He went to college for a while but he dropped out. Now he just works full time.
