WWIDgirl's Diary

I have an exam tomorrow. I tried to buy the textbook (THAT I NEED!!!) today. It was sold out. SOLD OUT!

So I'm getting my friend to lend me the book for a few minutes so that I can photocopy the 60 or so pages that I need. argh, more expenses. Speaking of expenses, my mom gave me $300 to pay my mastercard bill. I just need $60 more dollars for the remaining balance. I love my mom. She also bought me Clinique and Elizabeth Arden makeup because it's bonus time.

Craig called me twice yesterday. Once right after I got home from church and then again at 9pm when I was over at his place watching tv. We talked for a long time. He's having fun skiing in BC and he's met some nice people. He told me that he misses me and that he wishes I were there although he can't really see me doing all that activity-laden stuff that he's doing. I can't see me doing it either.

You guys would have been really proud. Throughout the call Craig was riddling the conversation with "I miss you"s and I was all nonchalent with "I'm glad" or "that's good". Even though this past week I've been telling any one who'll listen (and those who wouldn't) that I miss him like CRAZY, I did not convey my true feelings to him.

Dunno, I have this thing where I like the guy to think that he might just like me more than I like him. A power thing perhaps. Although, with Craig I think we're both on an even footing in terms of likingness.

I went over to his place last night and watched tv for 5 hours!!!!!!!! THIS is why I don't have cable tv. At home I very very rarely watch tv because we only get four channels. I can't believe I watched tv for 5 hours straight!!! When Craig is home we usually don't watch more than 1 hour of tv.

I was over at his place watching the olympics on Saturday and there was this amazing short track speed skating race.

It was the final race (after all the qualifying races) and there were five men. China, US, Canada, South Korea and Australia. They were all close together for the entire race and at the very end of the track, the South Korean fell and and then the Chinese guy fell causing the Canadian and American to fall so the Australian who was last for the entire duration of the race until then was the only man standing and thus GOT GOLD. It's the first gold medal for Australia in the history of the winter olympics. The canadian and American struggled to get back on their feet and stumbled over the finish line. US got silver, Canada got bronze. They both needed stitches from their fall.

It was amazing.

I'm having a dilemma. I'm not sure whether I should be rooting for the Canadians or the South Koreans. So I'm torn. I usually end of yelling "GO CANADA" except when it's speed skating and I get REALLY confused.

Parochial. I heard that on the radio. Must find out what it means.
