Saturday, Jan. 12, 2002 -- 7:41 p.m. Spork. Half spoon, half fork. A hybrid of sorts, the spork. I worked for my mom this morning from 9:30am until 1. She let me off early because it wasn't all that busy, usually I'm off at 2. So after work, I went shopping. I bought pants from American Eagle. They're lowriding khiakis and they cost me $12 including tax. They were marked at $9.95 but other pants of that style ranged in price from $6.95 to $20- something dependent on size. I tried on a size 6 that were $6.95 but they were too big so I had to grab a 4 which cost three dollars more. When I took them to be rung up they came in as $6.95 but the girl looked at the price labeled on the pants and she CHANGED THE PRICE! I was going to say something but I didn't want to seem cheap (BUT FUCK, I NEED THE MONEY!). Also, I was supposed to get 30% off because it was a redline clearance item and she didn't take that off either!! But I didn't realize this until I left the store and I didn't want to go back in for just a few dollars. For me, the few dollars makes a difference. I could have bought a tim hortons soup deal with that money. The pants are a little big and way too long but they're not so big that I need another size down though they are so long that I need to get them hemmed. Next I went to the GAP to use my $50.60 credit note that I got from returning the tank top Anna had got me for my birthday. I bought about four panties and jeans which came to $50.55 which was a fluke because I wasn't counting prices as I was grabbing things. I didn't try the pants on because I don't like to try pants on. I thought that they might be too small but when I put them on they weren't too small they were just tight fitting. They're really lowriding/stretch/faded/tightfitting jeans. I think that they make my thighs look big because they really hug them but my mom said the pants look good. They are however way too long and I need to get them hemmed, oh the curse of being freakishly short (5'2). Oh yeah, I copied this guy's proline ticket. I work at a lottery booth and usually, if someone bets $20 or more on their ticket, I take their ticket and change the bet to about $3. I have won a few times from doing this but I lose way more times than I win. I'm not going out tonight because I just don't feel like it. The cover is $5 and I don't even like the club (Monopoly) so I'd rather stay in and veg out, but shit what else is new. I still haven't watched the movies Yoona and I rented before and they're due tomorrow so I'm going to try to watch those tonight. "Girls just want to have fun" and "Jury Duty". There's a third movie which I thought was "look who's talking" but it's "Heaven Made" or something. It REALLY REALLY Sucks. it's about this guy who meets his soulmate in heaven and when she's sent back to earth he wants to go back too so they're both on earth and keep miss seeing each other until the very end when they magically get together. It's pretty retarded and slow moving. I'm going to the Keg tomorrow with Yoona, Alan, George and Lily. That should be fun but it's money that I don't have. ah well, food is expensive, what can I do. At least I'm not buying clothes all the time like I did in highschool. And anyway, I end up wearing a select few items of clothes out of my vast array of options. It's such a waste and I try not to buy clothes unless I really really like it or it's a great price (like the pants). |
