2001-12-12 -- 11:25 p.m.

Last night I finally got to sleep at 7am. I woke up at noon to the sound of the phone ringing, incessantly. I didn't answer it but then my cell phone started ringing so I reluctantly got up to answer it.

It was Craig. He had called to tell me that he had skipped work because he was sick. Craig has had a chronic cough for several days now and it's really annoying; for him and for me.

He came over at 3pm to use my computer. He really wants to go back to school to get a environmental engineering degree from the University of Guelph. He already has a mechanical engineering degree but he wants to do something new. He was going to go to Germany for work in March for two years but he changed his mind. Thank god. I would have missed him like crazy. And I would have had to break up with him before he left. Now I don't have to.

We were supposed to go to his twin sister's for dinner tomorrow but Craig wants to work out instead. He hasn't worked out since sunday and he feels like he has to go.

At least now i dont have to worry about getting her anything. I have never met anyone in his family and I'm kind of glad to not have to stress over it.

I went to Shopper's drug mart after I returned my Roger's video movie. I got craig a toothbrush, floss and lindor chocolate for his birthday tomorrow. I have to remember to get him a card tomorrow.
